WiSE Early Move-In 2022

New Student Registration Form

Complete the following form to register for the WiSE Early Move-In Program, August 23-25 2022.

Upon submitting this form, you will receive a copy of your submission. Students will receive a "registration approved" email once the WiSE Program Director has reviewed your submission. Students in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and STEM majors in the College of Arts and Sciences can expect an approval within 48 hours. Students enrolled in other academic units can expect an approval by August 11.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS

In addition to registering for WiSE Early Move-In using this form, you must separately request an early arrival with Campus Living using the instructions you receive via email during the first week of August.

On your early move-in request form:

  • Choose "other" as your reason for moving in early.
  • In the text box, simply enter the 4 letter code WISE. Do not add any additional characters.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS

In addition to registering for WiSE Early Move-In using this form, you must separately request an early arrival with Campus Living using the instructions you receive via email during the first week of August.

On your early move-in request form:

  • Choose "International Student" as your reason for early arrival.

Thursday, August 25: Downtown Buffalo Boat Cruise

The boat cruise activity on Day 3: Thursday, August 25 is optional, but highly recommended and encouraged! It serves as a great opportunity to meet fellow WiSE Early Move-In participants, upper class WiSE students, and WiSE faculty, learn about the history of Buffalo, enjoy the summer weather, and explore our beautiful city! 

Transportation from North Campus will be provided, but you may opt to provide your own transportation. 

9:15 AM | Board bus at North Campus (exact location TBA)
9:30 AM | Bus departs for Erie Basin Marina
10:00 AM-12:00 PM | Cruise on the Miss Buffalo through the Erie Harbor and Buffalo river.
12:00 PM | Board bus to return to North Campus (expected to return to campus at about 12:30 PM).

If you have a 1:00 obligation on North Campus, such as EOP or Honors College Orientation, you should expect to be back to campus on time, but may wish to bring a snack with you, as lunch will not be provided.

*Students who wish to explore the downtown and Canalside areas following the boat tour are welcome to do so! If you you choose not to take the bus back to campus, you are responsible for arranging your own return transportation by metro, rideshare, taxi, or personal vehicle.
